Verify Android app links and iOS universal links in one place
RYNO checks whether your domain is associated with your app for Android App Links and iOS Universal Links, then sends the link to an Android device through adb or to an iOS simulator through simctl, with logs. On a physical iPhone or iPad, RYNO sends the link through devicectl and cannot confirm that the device received it.
Why universal links and app links silently fail
The association file is not served right
A redirect, a missing HTTPS certificate or the wrong content type, and the system ignores the file.
The app identity does not match
A wrong signing certificate fingerprint on Android, or a wrong Team ID and bundle ID on iOS.
The app never verified the domain
Check the association with RYNOautoVerifymissing in the Android manifest, or the domain absent from Associated Domains in Xcode.
Domain verification and on-device testing, side by side
- Android App Links: association checked, then the link sent through adb to a device or emulator
- iOS Universal Links: association checked, then the link sent through simctl to a simulator
- iPhone and iPad by cable: RYNO sends the link through devicectl and cannot confirm that the device received it
- Your links stay in your
.ryno/collection, next to their check, for the whole team

Questions about verified links
What does RYNO check for Android app links?
RYNO checks that your domain associates the app with Android App Links through assetlinks.json, then lets you send the link to a device or emulator through adb and read the result.
What does RYNO check for iOS universal links?
RYNO checks that your domain associates the app through apple-app-site-association, then sends the link to an iOS simulator through simctl. On a physical iPhone or iPad, RYNO sends the link through devicectl and cannot confirm that the device received it.
Why does RYNO not confirm links on a physical iPhone?
iOS gives no signal back when devicectl opens a link on a connected iPhone: RYNO cannot confirm that the device received it. RYNO reports the link as sent rather than claim a result it cannot see.
Is there an online validator?
No. RYNO checks the association inside the desktop app, where it can also send the link to a device.
