Let your AI agent drive deep link tests through RYNO's built-in MCP server

The free RYNO desktop app includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect Claude Code or another MCP client, and your agent can read your .ryno/ collections and flows, edit them once you allow it, and run a deep link on an Android device or an iOS simulator, all on your Mac.

How it works

How the built-in MCP server works

Three steps, no extra install: the server ships inside the desktop app.
  1. 1. Turn on the MCP server

Start it from RYNO settings, under MCP. It listens on your Mac only, on the loopback address.

  2. 2. Add RYNO to your agent

Register the server address with Claude Code in one command, or point another MCP client at it.

  3. 3. Ask for a test

"Open the add-to-cart link on the Pixel and tell me what happened."

The loop

Code a route, send the link, read the result

Your agent closes the loop without leaving the conversation.
  • The agent lists the requests and flows of your .ryno/ folder
  • It runs a deep link on an Android device or an iOS simulator and reads the outcome
  • It creates and edits requests and flows, once you allow it
  • On a physical iPhone or iPad, RYNO sends the link through devicectl and cannot confirm that the device received it, and the agent reads exactly that

Local runs

Runs on your Mac, with your environments

RYNO runs every link locally. Device secrets stay in your local environment files.
  • Secrets stay local

Variables from *.env.local.json are resolved on your Mac for the run, and never returned to the agent.

    How local secrets work
  • Same native tools

The MCP server sends links through adb and simctl, exactly as the app does.

  • Same files as your team

The agent works from the .ryno/ collections committed in your repository.

FAQ

Questions about MCP

Agents, data and limits.

Which AI agents work with the RYNO MCP server?

Any MCP client can connect to the RYNO MCP server, including Claude Code. The server ships with the free RYNO desktop app for macOS, listens on your Mac only, and stays off until you start it.

Does RYNO send my data to an AI provider?

RYNO itself sends nothing to an AI provider: it runs links on your Mac and returns results to the agent you connected. The values you mark as local are never handed over. What the agent then does with the results depends on the agent you use.

Can an agent test on a physical iPhone through RYNO?

Yes, with the same limit as in the app: on a physical iPhone or iPad, RYNO sends the link through devicectl and cannot confirm that the device received it, so the agent reads that the link was sent.

Is the RYNO MCP server free?

Yes. The MCP server is part of the free RYNO desktop app and needs no account.

Give your agent a real device

Turn on the MCP server in RYNO and ask your agent to run your first deep link. To get started, contact the team.
